[Question]
Once again, how
do I get the
process started
if I'm looking
for a job?
10:52:08 AM
[Kevin Holt and
Sheila Roth]
We'd suggest
that you attend
an orientation
session at 9
a.m. Monday at
the Super Jobs
Center, 1916
Central Parkway,
45214. That's a
great place to
get started. And
it's free, no
cost to anybody,
Hamilton County
or any area
residents are
welcome.

[Question]
Where is a
good place to
find job leads?
10:52:08 AM
[Kevin Holt and
Sheila Roth]
This Web site is
an excellent
resource:

10:37:41 AM
[Visitor] I
think I've got
enough to get me
going for
awhile. thanks
for you're
availability and
for the
resources you've
shared. It's
nice to have
access to you
through things
like this.
10:38:08 AM
[Kevin Holt and
Sheila Roth]
You're welcome.
10:32:34 AM
[Visitor] I want
to know what can I
do to get medical
for myself? Every
time i go an apply
they say that I
can't get because I
haven't file for
child support but I
have
10:36:56 AM
[Kevin Holt and
Sheila Roth]
We suggest that you
resolve this
case-specific
question with your
child support worker
or their supervisor.
If you have a child
in your home, there
is a wide variety of
available forms of
medical assistance,

10:30:07 AM [Visitor]
What kind of information
or services might one
find related to being an
entrepreneur? It has
been suggested by many
people that I could take
some of my marketable
skills and start my own
business. I'm a bit
overwhelmed by the idea,
though.
10:32:28 AM [Kevin
Holt and Sheila Roth]
You might want to try
SCORE. They offer free
business consulting for
entrepreneurs.

10:25:56 AM [Visitor]
Who conducts the
workshops at the Super
Jobs Center? do you have
people in-house or do
you bring others from
the community in to
conduct them?
10:26:50 AM [Kevin
Holt and Sheila Roth]
It's Super Jobs Center
staff.
10:22:08 AM [Visitor]
I wonder why you have
ratings disabled on the
video. I was going to give
it 5 stars!
10:23:19 AM [Kevin Holt
and Sheila Roth]
Thank you for the positive
feedback.
10:17:28 AM [Visitor] How
have the existing budget
constraints affected the
priorities you operate under?
10:21:49 AM [Kevin Holt and
Sheila Roth]
Our
priorities are now defined
almost exclusively by state and
federal mandates. Specific to
Workforce Development funding
and policy priorities have
shifted to the growing
population of dislocated
workers, that is: Job seekers,
recently laid off or otherwise
affected by regional job losses.
10:14:09 AM [Visitor] Is
there anything available for
someone to do a "self-guided"
tour or something? On my own
time, maybe?
10:19:53 AM [Kevin Holt and
Sheila Roth]
Here's a link to a video on
YouTube that explains Super Jobs
Center

10:12:41 AM [Visitor]
Hmm. I'm usually at the Job
Search Focus Group in Hyde Park
during that time on Monday.
10:12:51 AM [Visitor]
Maybe I could skip one week...
10:13:17 AM [Visitor]
Good thing to have a good start
on Monday morning, though!
10:14:13 AM [Kevin Holt and
Sheila Roth]
You
could pick any Monday that is
not a holiday. Or you could go
to our location at Jordan
Crossing in the
Cincinnati-Hamilton County
Community Action Agency building
in Bond Hill at 1:30 p.m. on
Tuesdays. We suggest arriving
early.
10:10:13 AM [Visitor] Super
Jobs is on Central Parkway, right?
What are the hours? What should I
expect when I come to visit?
10:10:35 AM [Visitor] Is
there an orientation or something
available for job seekers?
10:12:00 AM [Kevin Holt and
Sheila Roth]
It's at
1916 Central Parkway. The hours are
8 a.m.-5 p.m., except Wednesdays
open until 7 p.m. We would suggest
attending an orientation at 9 a.m.
Monday to get an overview of what
the Super Jobs Center has to offer.
Orientation lasts about an hour.
10:06:14 AM [Visitor] I know
about the SuperJobs Center. That's about
all
10:06:45 AM [Visitor] I think I
recall hearing Sheila on WVXU recently
to talk about WIA
10:09:39 AM [Kevin Holt and Sheila
Roth]
Super Jobs is the heart of what we have
to offer. That facility houses a wide
variety of local workforce partners, and
has unique access to a range of state
and federal workforce development
funding streams intending to connect
employers with job seekers. If you have
particular questions, we'd be happy to
discuss any element of these or other
services in greater detail.
9:58:47 AM [J] I was released by my
dr. on Sept 15th after being on disability,
Medicare and Medicaid for 7 years. Back
surgery a year ago was successful. Bone
grafts, fusion etc. One year healing and I
seem to be good to go. I called HCJFS to
inform them of the release. Many questions.
The person who answered the phone would not
even connect me to my case worker. Need
guidance as to how to get back in work
field. Need insurance. Really don't know
where to start. Please help.
10:02:34 AM [J] I am 37 years
old,single and am currently totally
dependent on my parents for support.

services for job seekers and employers.
According to the notice I saw on Twitter and
