10:45:43 AM [Visitor] When will the first payment by the State be made to providers?
10:48:49 AM [Amy Story] June 1. The last check from Hamilton County will be issued on 4/29, UNLESS you provide care for a kinship child. Kinship children are paid through local county funds. Voucher reimbursement for those children only will continue on a bi-weekly schedule.
10:45:30 AM [Visitor] Any idea who offers that
10:39:31 AM [Visitor] I recently submitted my application to become a home provider for my granddaughters which it was returned incomplete my question is how long will my fbi and bci checks remain on file with hcjf and after I resubmit is that when I will have the health and safety classes or is that a class i have to find on my own
10:43:09 AM [Amy Story] The BCI and FBI results are good for one year. The health and safety class must be taken within six months of your certification date. If you've submitted your complete provider application, you can seek out a health and safety class.
10:33:36 AM [Visitor] I am the legal guardian of a 4 year old with no relation, however her income is 245 monthly. I need to work but is limited without vochers. How can Hamilton County help I took in a infant through 241kids. Now since the case is closed what do I do? The total income exceeds the guidline however I am not able to pay 176.00 a week.
10:35:27 AM [Amy Story] As the legal guardian, you must apply for Child Care. Your family's gross monthly income is considered for the eligibility determination. If your total income exceeds the limit for your household size, you would not be eligible for subsidy for child care vouchers.
10:18:10 AM [Visitor] I didn't receive my vouchers. How do I get replacements?
10:16:27 AM [Amy Story] The Child Care desk, 3rd Floor, 222 E. Central Parkway, can immediately issue replacements for walk-in requestors between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. If you want replacements mailed to you, contact your assigned worker.
10:18:10 AM [Visitor] If I report my change of address in the Provider Portal, do I still need to report that change to the county?
10:16:27 AM [Amy Story] Yes. Providers are certified or licensed at their specific address. Ideally, providers would report their planned change-of-address prior to their actual move. Providers must be certified or licensed at their new address.
10:15:10 AM [Visitor] How do I know if Hamilton County received my completed MOU?
10:16:27 AM [Amy Story] Once your MOU is processed you will receive a signed copy of the MOU and your contract rates by mail.
10:13:10 AM [Visitor] I recently received the MOU from Hamilton County. Am I required to submit the entire MOU back to Hamilton County?
10:13:27 AM [Amy Story] Yes. Please return the entire MOU with an original signature page. Attach your provider agreement and provider rates as submitted in the ODJFS provider portal.
10:06:10 AM [Visitor] Is a parent required to be receiving child support in order to receive child care services? (such as if parents are not together, but have an agreement on support of the children)
10:07:27 AM [Amy Story] No. Child Support is considered in the family's gross income, but it is not a requirement for eligibility.
9:56:30 AM [Visitor] Has a vendor been chosen yet?
10:01:24 AM [Amy Story] Counties have not yet been notified of a selected vendor for the ODJFS time and attendance system.
9:54:47 AM [Visitor] Would a family of four (single parent w/3 children) with an annual income of 40,580 qualify for child care subsidy of even a partial payment?
