Integrated Services:
How to Apply

Adult Protective Services (APS)

No application is necessary. Just call 421-LIFE (421-5433) to report any suspected case of elder abuse, neglect or exploitation.

Once a report is made, it is forwarded to APS staff for investigation. If a care plan is needed and developed, the APS caseworker will connect the elder - and family members when necessary - to helpful services in the community. Caseworkers will also continue to follow up as long as it remains practical and needed to ensure the safety and well-being of the elder. Some community-based services are limited to people over the age of 65.
