Who is eligible

Any resident of Hamilton County with children is eligible to participate in the child support system. Child support orders are usually issued with a divorce. If you had a child out-of-wedlock, call your local child support enforcement agency and ask to establish paternity. Once paternity is established, your local child support office can help you get a court order for child support. For the well being of children, it is important to establish paternity and get a support order.
