About Workforce Development

The Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services (HCJFS) Workforce Development section partners with a variety of programs and services to help county residents join the workforce and move up the economic ladder:

  • Community Link, a consortium of private agencies that partners with HCJFS to help those receiving assistance to become independent
  • The Super Jobs Center, which works with employers as well as any adult or youth who is seeking a job
  • Programs that help at-risk youth 14 to 21 years old to stay in school, get a GED, and/or gain skills to transition into adulthood and self-sufficiency
  • Food Stamp Employment and Training (FSET), to assist food stamp recipients with finding employment

Workforce Development serves a diverse customer base including welfare recipients, people who have lost their jobs, and people seeking career advancement.
