Workforce Development

Workforce Development helps Hamilton County residents find jobs and/or training needed to move up the economic ladder. Its programs (fact sheets, to right) include Super Jobs, Food Stamp Employment & Training (FSET) and Community Link.

The Super Jobs Center in the old unemployment office on Central Parkway plays an important role in the region’s economic development.

Super Jobs is operated by Hamilton County Job and Family Services and is supported by the City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County and the Southwest Ohio Workforce Investment Board. Hamilton County Job and Family Services is designated as the fiscal agent and administrative entity for Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Title 1 federal workforce investment programs -- WIA Adult, Dislocated Worker and Youth programs.
