Agency to host families at zoo on National Adoption Day

Oct. 25, 2006 -- The Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services (HCJFS) will host 300 foster and adoptive parents and kids at the Cincinnati Zoo on Nov. 18 as part of National Adoption Day festivities. Attendees will enjoy hot dogs and soda pop while watching an animal wrangler at a zoo building. Then, they’ll be free to check out the Festival of Lights and return for hot chocolate. Those who can’t attend will get discounted festival tickets.
