Agency opens PASSPORT satellite office in Tri-County

Jan. 17, 2008 -- The Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services will open an outreach office at the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio in Tri-County on Feb. 1.

Three eligibility technicians and a supervisor will process applications and reapplications for the PASSPORT program, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, at 175 Tri-County Parkway.

PASSPORT is a Medicaid waiver program that prevents unnecessary nursing home placement. PASSPORT stands for Pre-Admission Screening Services Providing Options and Resources Today.
