Cincinnati Reds, Hamilton County JFS to recognize foster parents

May 12, 2008 -- The Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services will team with the Cincinnati Reds to salute foster parents during Foster Family Night on Tuesday, May 27. Information also will be available at Great American Ball Park for those interested in becoming foster parents.

Before the game, a foster family will be invited onto the field to represent all of the county's foster families. The family will also start the game by calling "play ball!" over the public address system. Other special activities are planned to thank foster parents and build awareness about the need for more of them in Hamilton County.
