May 8, 2008 -- Jeffrey Startzman, the Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services assistant director in charge of Child Support, will answer questions and listen to concerns and ideas during a live online chat, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 29.

To participate, people can click on a link that will be posted on www.hcjfs.org on May 29. Also, an e-mail will be sent to subscribers to the HCJFS Update newsletter with a link to the chat area.

Startzman will answer questions about Child Support in general. For confidentiality reasons, he cannot discuss individual cases. However, Child Support customers are invited to ask questions about their cases using the online form under Contact Us on the Web site.

The agency successfully tested a new tool called Bold Chat with HCJFS Update readers on April 25. The chat with those interested in Child Support begins the first of a series of tests with more targeted audiences. Sessions with Child Care providers and foster and adoptive parents also are planned.
