Fatherhood movement gains momentum
August
is National Child Support Month and we traditionally do a variety of things
to celebrate, including the release of a new Most Wanted poster, some type
of amnesty offer to delinquent parents and the recognition of a “hero” for
assisting in the mission of seeing that children receive the financial
support they need. This year, we are adding a new twist.
On
Aug. 13, we are joining Lighthouse Youth Services and the Ohio
Practitioners’ Network for Fathers and Families in hosting a fatherhood
conference entitled “A Brighter Future: Strengthening Fathers for Families
and Community.”
