News Child Care Swipe Cards to Begin Oct. 30
Providers must have the swipe-card system installed to receive payment from the state. The new system will allow for better tracking of attendance and taxpayer dollars. Public Assistance Recipients Now Able to View Case Status, Benefit Information

Uniform Standards Created for Child Support to Suspend Driver's Licenses Beginning Sept. 28, Child Support at Hamilton County Job and Family Services will follow new state criteria for suspending driver's licenses of parents who have neglected to make their child support payments. The new rules, developed in House Bill 153, will create uniform standards across all 88 Ohio counties.
Hours to Reserve Non-emergency Transportation to ChangeBeginning Nov. 1, the hours to schedule Non-Emergency Transportation will change. Individuals must now call between 8 a.m. and noon to schedule a ride. Trips are typically scheduled at least five days in advance. The change will not affect delivery of transportation services. Non-emergency Transportation (NET) is a statewide program administered by HCJFS for Medicaid eligible customers. NET provides transportation to and from Medicaid providers in the form of bus tokens, bus passes, van services, access tickets or mileage reimbursement.
