Orientation Schedule

Attending an Orientation is the first step toward becoming a foster or adoptive parent. This relaxed, informative class is designed to help you decide if being a foster or adoptive parent is right for you. You will receive invaluable information about foster care and adoption, and you will have an opportunity to ask questions and interact with experienced, knowledgeable staff who are or have been foster and adoptive parents themselves!

**NOTE: The policy of SWORTC (Southwest Ohio Regional Training Center) states that no children are permitted at pre-service training classes. Questions? Call SWORTC at (513) 946-1263.

Attending an Orientation is required if you intend to become a licensed foster parent or an adoptive parent. The class counts as Class 1 of the required 12 courses in the pre-service training sequence.
