Adoption Services Web site!
..........................................................................................................................
We're glad
you're interested in adoption through Hamilton County
Job & Family Services! You will find information here to
help you decide if adopting through HCJFS
is right for you.
The majority of
children available for adoption
through HCJFS
are African American, over the age
of ten, and/or part of a sibling group.
While we don't usually have infants
and toddlers, they may come to us as
part of sibling sets.
All of our
children have experienced some level
of abuse or
neglect.
But despite their
troubled lives, most of the children
in our custody are much like any
others. They laugh and play, and
they have favorite toys, games and
friends. They also have hopes and
dreams for their futures -
especially for permanent, loving and
committed parents.
You
can help their dream come true!

learn more as they decide which agency to begin working
with.
Focus on Youth:

April 19, 6-7:30 PM
For directions or other information,

to other Ohio counties featuring waiting children, as
well as
www.adoptuskids.org.
Not ready to foster, but still want
to support kids in foster care?
Sometimes people want to do something
to help children in foster care but aren't yet ready to open
their homes. Here are two organizations to consider -
just click on their logo to visit their web sites:
If you are
interested in a specific child shown on our web site,
please call (513) 632-6366 to provide us with your
contact information and the name, address and phone
number of your agency. We will also need the name of
your assigned worker.
NOTE: We must receive your homestudy directly from your
home agency to be considered for a waiting child.
We regret that we cannot accept homestudies directly
from prospective parents.
