Attending an
Orientation is the first step toward becoming a foster
or adoptive parent. This relaxed, informative class is designed to
help you decide if being a foster or adoptive parent is right for
you. You will receive valuable information about foster care and
adoption, and you will have an opportunity to ask questions and
interact with experienced, knowledgeable trainers who are or have
been foster and adoptive parents themselves!
**NOTE: The
policy of SWORTC (Southwest Ohio Regional Training Center) states
that no children are permitted at pre-service training classes.
