Pre-Service Training

Attending pre-service training is the first step toward becoming an adoptive parent. This relaxed, informative set of 12 classes is required.

During your training, you will receive valuable information about foster care and adoption, and you will have an opportunity to ask questions and interact with experienced, knowledgeable trainers who are or have been foster and adoptive parents themselves!

**NOTE: The policy of Southwest Ohio Regional Training Center (SWORTC) states that no children are permitted at pre-service training classes. Questions? Call SWORTC at (513) 946-1145.

Attending and completing pre-service classes is required if you intend to become an adoptive parent with Hamilton County JFS.

When and where are classes held?
